April 2017
The relatively rare winter rains in Los Angeles motivated us to take a hike in Pasadena. The trail to Eaton Falls begins at the Eaton Canyon Nature Center. The 3.5 mile round trip trail is relatively flat and requires a little bit of boulder maneuvering and river crossing. We hiked on a weekday morning so it wasn’t too crowded. I’m not sure it would be a great hike with more people. The falls were surprisingly pretty!

After our morning hike we stopped off at Lavender & Honey Cafe in east Pasadena. Delicious treats and a little shopping next door at Sidecca to boot.
