I woke up in the morning feeling the worst effects of jet leg that had been accumulating over the week. I felt so sick I had to pass on the day, which tells you how sick I was feeling. I would never cancel! Therefore I can report only a few details of the day.
Breakfast at Sweet Dixie Kitchen. Two years later as I write this post I’ve learned that the restaurant is now closed. Even more interesting, however, is the story that they were serving Popeye’s fried chicken!
Next the group went to Crafted at the Los Angeles Port to make some jewelry.
Then they headed to the Botanical Gardens in Palos Verdes. I think they found the garden very beautiful, but a bit hot that day.
The day ended happily with a brief cliffside hike and dinner and drinks at Terranea Resort.
